About the Role
n
You'll run your own section, maintain high standards, and contribute to a smooth service. Every shift is hands-on, energetic, and never dull.
n
Roster: 4 day working week on rotating rosters and includes weekends
n
Physicality: Some lifting and movement required
n
Autonomy: Manage your section confidently and support the wider kitchen team
n
Key responsibilities
n
Prepare and cook dishes to a consistent, high standard
n
Work across a variety of stations - including grill, pans, and pastry - depending on skill and service needs
n
Support smooth kitchen operations and strong team communication
n




Maintain exceptional hygiene and food safety compliance
n
Use initiative and bring curiosity to learn and improve
n
Stay calm and effective in a busy, high-pressure environment
n
Step in wherever needed to help the team deliver great service
n
About you (This is the important part)
n
We're looking for good humans who bring the right mix of skill and attitude. Being great at cooking matters - but who you are in the kitchen matters more.
n
You are someone who:
n
Has minimum 2 years' experience in a similar culinary role
n
May have specific strengths - like grill skills, pastry experience, or strong all-rounder capability. If so, make sure to highlight these in your CV or cover letter.
n
Takes pride in producing quality food, every time
n
Shows up with a positive attitude and supports the people around you
n
Communicates well, listens well, and works well under pressure
n
Is reliable, punctual, and respectful
n
Stays calm, professional, and adaptable when things get busy
n
Cares about doing things properly - from prep to plating to pack-down

Enjoys learning and wants to keep growing your craft

Must-haves
n
Minimum 2 years proven kitchen experience
n
Solid, up-to-date food safety knowledge
n
Availability for rotation across 7 days
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills

A great attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine passion for food
