This is a brand new role for our team, reporting directly into the Head of eCommerce Recruitment.

Ecommerce Recruitment (ECR), partners with high growth D2C and consumer brands across Australia, New Zealand, the US and Canada to help them find exceptional talent.
n
Founded by Davie Fogarty as part of the broader Davie Group (think The Oodie), ECR also has access to an extensive founder and operator network through The Daily Mentor community of more than 1,000 D2C businesses globally.
n
We are growing and are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant who wants to take real ownership of their desk, build strong client relationships and grow within a specialist international market.
n
This is a true 360 role.
n
You will manage searches from briefing through to placement, work directly with clients, build candidate pipelines, develop new business and take ownership of individual revenue outcomes.
n
You will also have the support of a Talent Coordinator across sourcing, market mapping and screening, giving you more space to focus on higher value recruitment activity, client relationships and placements.

What you will be doing
n
Managing recruitment assignments from client brief through to successful placement
n
Taking detailed briefs and understanding the business, role, team and ideal candidate profile
n
Building and adjusting search strategies based on market and interview feedback
n
Proactively sourcing and headhunting candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels
n
Conducting detailed candidate screening and assessment
n
Presenting strong, client ready shortlists
n
Managing interviews, feedback, offers and negotiations
n




Building trusted relationships with clients and providing proactive market updates
n
Advising clients on candidate availability, remuneration and market conditions
n
Growing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities
n
Prospecting ecommerce, DTC and consumer brands
n
Building relationships with prospective clients through targeted outreach
n
Working towards individual placement and revenue targets
n
Building specialist candidate networks across the functions you recruit
n
Using AI and recruitment technology to improve quality, speed and efficiency
n
Who we are looking for
n
This role is suited to someone who already understands agency recruitment and is comfortable owning the full recruitment lifecycle. You will ideally have:
n
Agency recruitment experience within a 360 environment
n
Experience managing recruitment assignments from briefing through to placement
n
Strong sourcing, headhunting, screening and assessment capability
n
Hands on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
n
Confidence managing client relationships independently
n
Experience with business development, prospecting or creating new recruitment opportunities
n
Commercial awareness and confidence working towards individual revenue outcomes
n
Robust communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
n
Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple clients, roles and candidates at once
n




Attention to detail and strong follow through
n
Confidence using ATS, CRM and workflow systems
n
A self directed approach with the ability to take ownership
n
A collaborative mindset and willingness to share ideas and improve
n
Ecommerce, DTC or consumer brand recruitment experience would be valuable, but it is not essential. Strong recruitment capability, commercial judgement and the ability to quickly learn a specialist market matter more.
