Collarcare is searching for passionate Personal Care Workers to work in Aged Care Facilities throughout the Sydney & Central Coast NSW

What do you need to have?
n
n
Certificate III Individual Support or Equivalent
n
COVID Vaccination (including booster)
n
3 Months minimum working within an Australian Aged Care Facility
n
Current Police Check and NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain these.
n
Valid work Rights.
n
Current CPR & First Aid
n
NDIS Worker Screening or willingness to obtain
n
n
What will you be doing?
n
n
Assisting residents with all aspects of daily living including personal care, grooming and supporting emotional needs.
n
Documenting resident's condition and assisting with the administration of medications.
n
Assisting with meal consumption and monitoring nutrition.
n
Infection control and prevention.
n
Assisting the registered nurse to ensure a holistic model of care is followed at all times.
n




Assisting in admission and easing the transition for residents and their families.
n
Liaison with all stakeholders including residents, family, doctors and allied health.
n
Acting in accordance with aged care standards on every shift.
n
