FC Glass & Aluminium is a well-established commercial glazing and aluminium fabrication business based in Newcastle. We work on high-quality commercial projects across NSW and are looking for a reliable and motivated Aluminium Fabricator to join our growing team.

This is a varied role combining aluminium fabrication in our Sandgate factory with deliveries of finished windows, doors and materials to our commercial project sites.
n
The role includes:
n
n
Fabrication and assembly of commercial aluminium window, door and glazing systems
n
Cutting, machining and preparing aluminium profiles to job documentation
n
Operating workshop machinery including saws, copy routers and drills
n
Preparing materials and finished products for delivery to site
n
Loading and unloading trucks
n
Delivering commercial aluminium window and door frames, glass and associated materials to project sites as required
n
Assisting with unpacking deliveries, stock and general factory duties
n
Ensuring products are handled and transported safely to minimise damage
n
Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient work environment
n
Working as part of a supportive and hardworking team
n

About you:
n
n
Experience in aluminium fabrication, ideally within the window,



door or commercial glazing industry
n
A robust work ethic and reliable attitude
n
Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
n
Ability to read and follow job documentation and fabrication requirements
n
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Current Australian Class C driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
n
Comfortable driving and completing deliveries to commercial construction sites
n
NSW General Construction Induction (White) Card
n
Experience with Alspec, Capral or similar aluminium systems would be highly regarded
n
Forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential
n
