Cost Controller – 12‐Month Contract (Melbourne CBD | Hybrid) n
Join a leading renewable energy organisation as a Cost Controller supporting major Wind Farm construction projects across the Asia‐Pacific region. This role sits within the Project Cost Control department the central team responsible for managing all financial aspects of projects under construction.

This is a 12‐month casual contract, working 8 hours per day, based in Melbourne CBD with a hybrid work setup.
Key Responsibilities n

Prepare payment claims
and raise claims in line with project progress and contract requirements
n
n
Report weekly
cash inflows and outflows
with input from the Project Manager
n
n
Monitor project financials to ensure expenditure remains within budget
n
n
Report
POC (Percentage of Completion)
according to the forecast model and escalated uncertainties promptly
n
n
Lead monthly
project reporting
and
variance analysis
n
n
Support
project forecasting and financial modelling
n
n
Maintain and update the
billing plan
for cashflow management
n
n
Raise
purchase requisitions
and
purchase orders
n
n
Maintain
Project WBS / Network activity structures
n
n
Follow up on
NCRs
,
journal recoveries
, and
accruals
n
Qualifications & Experience n
n
n
Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration
,
Commerce
,
Accounting
,
Project Accounting
,
Project Management
,



or related discipline
n
n
Experience in
Cost Control
on large
EPC projects
n
n
Solid finance/accounting foundation with reporting and reconciliation capability
n
n
Experience in
project controlling
and administration within complex project environments
n
n
Proficiency in
SAP
or other large ERP systems
n
n
Advanced Excel skills
n
n
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
n
n
Strong communication skills, self‐management, and solid work ethic
n
n
Structured approach to problem‐solving
n
n
Good understanding of
project management principles
