ABOUT THE ROLE
n
We're looking for a practical, reliable team member to join our timber, plasterboard and trade sales team. This role is hands‐on and varied, with a mix of customer service, warehouse work and stock handling.
n
You'll help load and unload products, pick and pack orders, serve customers at the trade counter, and keep the yard and warehouse protected, tidy and running well.
n

Our store operates six days per week, and this role may require Saturday work on a rostered basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
n
This role includes a mix of yard, warehouse, delivery and customer service duties, including:
n
n
Safely handle, store and move stock
n
Pick, pack and load customer orders
n
Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organised and safe
n
Assist trade and retail customers with enquiries
n




Complete customer deliveries when required
n
Check goods against delivery paperwork
n
Operate forklifts, equipment and vehicles safely
n
Take part in product training with industry brands
n
n
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
n
n
Current Forklift Licence (LF) - Essential
n
Current Manual Driver Licence - Essential
n
Demonstrated forklift operating experience in a busy work environment
n
Physically fit with the ability to safely lift and manually handle products
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
n
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
n
Safety focus for yourself, your team and customers
n
Positive attitude with a strong focus on teamwork and customer service
