The Medical Imaging department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Tele Radiology Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis.
n
Your opportunity
n
Support, maintain and manage the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) environment within the Mackay Hospital and Health Service.
n
Provide operational and administrative support for the delivery of clinical information to radiologists, clinicians and other staff using PACS/RIS.
n
About the Team

Our Medical Imaging Department delivers a range of services including, General Radiography (CR) and (DR),



Computed Tomography (CT) (Dual Source), Ultrasound, Theatre II, Interventional Fluoroscopy, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,500 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
