We're looking for a passionate and dedicated
Careers Adviser (Secondary Teacher)
with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teacher to join our team.This is a
permanent, part time Careers Adviser (teacher)
position offering
15 hours per week.
There is the potential fora
full time
teaching load
(additional 15 hours)
based on your secondary teaching background and available school allocation.
The Career Adviser (Teacher) supports students to understand their strengths, interests and aspirations, make informed educational and career decisions, and develop the skills to manage transitions throughout life. Working with the Deputy Principal - Learning and Thinking, teachers, families and external partners, the role holder develops and delivers a coordinated career education program within the College's Catholic mission.
You'll join a supportive team of committed teachers who work together in partnership with the parent community to create the best possible learning experience for every student. Your understanding of contemporary teaching practices, and your ability to adapt and support a diverse range of learners, will help every child feel included, valued, and confident.
In your classroom, you'll spark curiosity and a love of learning by designing engaging lessons, setting clear expectations, and continually reflecting on your practice to keep improving.



You'll use a range of assessment tools to understand each student's progress, celebrate their growth, and give meaningful feedback that helps them thrive.
