The Role-Mechanical Draftsperson

Job Title: Mechanical Draftsman
n
Location: Brisbane

Reporting to: Department head
n
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Create detailed mechanical drawings and schematics using CAD Software (SolidWorks, PDM & AutoCAD )
n
Consult with Engineers and other professionals to ensure design accuracy
n
Maintain drawing standards by following Liverlink's design processes
n
Specifying dimensions, materials and procedures for the products
n
Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or client requirements
n




Document and maintain technical files for reference and future use
n
Demonstrate due diligence in all assigned tasks
n

What are we looking for
n
We are seeking aQualified Mechanical Draftsperson with strong mechanical aptitudeand a proven track record of proficiency in SolidWorks. This role reports directly to the head of the Engineering department and requires someone who is a motivated learner and a collaborative team player.

We're looking for someone with apositive attitude- a person who can adopt their approach to suit different situations and help drive the best outcomes for our team and our customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Certificate or diploma in Mechanical drafting
n
Proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks, PDM & AutoCad )
n
Understanding mechanical systems and manufacturing processes
n
Robust attention to detail and communication skills
n
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred—but not limited to
