About the Role
n
Working within a busy operational environment, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and performance of plant, machinery and equipment.
n
The primary site is located in Eagle Farm, with maintenance responsibilities extending across a large multi-shed facility and other operational locations.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial plant and equipment
n
Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs to minimise downtime
n
Maintaining and servicing machinery across operational facilities
n
Supporting equipment installations,



modifications and general maintenance activities
n
Assisting with factory relocations, equipment layouts and improvement projects when required
n
Attending other sites to provide maintenance support as needed
n
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures
n
Working closely with operational teams to maintain equipment reliability and production efficiency
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters who enjoy hands‐on maintenance and are comfortable working within an operational environment.
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Relevant Mechanical Fitter trade qualifications
n
Experience in industrial, manufacturing or operational maintenance environments
n
Strong mechanical fault‐finding and troubleshooting skills
n
Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
n
The ability to work independently and manage competing maintenance priorities
n
A proactive approach to safety and equipment reliability
n
Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends
n
Willingness to undertake occasional service trips, including regional travel for up to one week at a time
n
n
Dual trade qualifications and/or a Restricted Electrical License will be highly regarded, however experienced Mechanical Fitters without electrical qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
