Homestead Concreting & Property Maintenance – Wollongong NSW

We are looking for a full time versatile "all-rounder" plasterer who excels in repair and restoration work. This position focuses on maintenance, patch repairs, and remediation rather than just large-scale sheeting. You will be visiting residential and commercial properties to bring damaged surfaces back to a seamless, repaint-ready finish.

Key responsibilities
n
Carry out all types of plaster repairs including small patches (dents, nail holes, cracks) and large-scale remediation (water damage, sagging ceilings)
n
Install, repair, and replace standard and decorative cornices
n
Perform
plasterboard/Gyprock
installation, sheeting, flushing, setting, and sanding
n
Prepare internal (and occasionally external) surfaces to ensure high-quality, paint-ready finishes
n
Correctly match existing textures and smooth out uneven surfaces
n
Maintain a clean and safe work site, ensuring minimal disruption to clients
n
Keep company ute clean and tidy
n
About you
n
Trade Qualification in Plastering (Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining or Solid Plastering preferred)
n




Proven experience specifically in plaster maintenance, patch-ups, and repair work
n
Mastery of hand tools (hawks, trowels, floats) and mixing compounds
n
Valid Driver's License and reliable transport (utility vehicle/van preferred)
n
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
n
Strong attention to detail with a neat and tidy work ethic
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
