We're looking for a casual Commis Chef to join the kitchen at Beverly Rooftop.

The venue

We're on Level 24 at 627 Chapel Street with 270-degree views over the city. The menu puts a Southern Californian spin on modern dining, backed by a serious cocktail list and a room with real energy. It's busy, it's fun, and we do big numbers, so you'll learn fast.

What you'll be doing

Prep and service across the sections
n
Keeping your station clean, organised and ready to go
n
Following recipes and specs to get every plate right
n
Working with the team to keep the pass moving on busy services
n
n
What we're after
n
n
Some experience in a commercial kitchen
n
Good knife skills and a solid grasp of the basics
n
Someone who takes direction well and wants to learn
n
Calm under pressure and happy to get stuck in
n
Availability across nights and weekends
n
Cert III in Commercial Cookery or currently studying is a plus
n
