Our client is a leading national paper manufacturing company and is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Hand to join their team. Working within a busy industrial environment, you'll be responsible for maintaining site cleanliness, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring work areas remain safe and productive.

About the Role Key duties will include:
n
n
Sweeping corridors, walkways and operational areas
n
Using blowers to maintain clean and safe workspaces
n
Hosing down work areas as required
n
Cleaning around conveyors and production equipment
n
General housekeeping and yard maintenance
n
Forklift operation and material handling (where licensed)
n
Assisting with site operational and maintenance activities
n
Following strict workplace health and safety procedures
n
Supporting the operations team with general labouring duties as required
n
n

Reliability and commitment to long-term employment

Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, labouring, yard hand or industrial environments
n
Ability to perform physical work and work outdoors when required
n
Strong focus on safety and following procedures
n
Ability to work both independently and within a team
n
Current driver's licence preferred
n
Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential
n
