Australian owned and operated business based in Dandenong are a local packaging manufacturer. We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator, casual position.
n
We are seeking an experienced enthusiastic hard working Machine Operator to join our team at Polyfoam Dandenong. Full training will be provided.
n
Reporting to the Production supervisor, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
n
n
Set up, operate, and monitor PE extrusion lines to produce quality output
n
Monitor temperature, pressure, and line speed settings, adjusting as needed
n
Conduct quality checks throughout production runs and record results
n
Identify and troubleshoot equipment faults or product defects
n
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of extrusion equipment
n
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
n
Maintain accurate production logs and reports
n




Work collaboratively with other operators and supervisors attention to detail is a must.
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Previous experience in operating extrusion machine (advantageous)
n
Understanding of plastics/polymer processing principles
n
Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
n
Ability to read and understand production specifications
n
Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
n
Willingness to work other departments (if applicable)
n
Strong safety awareness and commitment to following procedures
n
