Job Description
We are seeking a Material Delivery Driver to join the team at Lovett Construction Group Pty Ltd. This is a full-time position based in Valley Heights, NSW ****. In this role, you will be responsible for the secure and efficient delivery of materials to construction sites and customer locations.

What you'll be doing
n

Operating and maintaining delivery vehicles in safe, roadworthy condition
n
Transporting construction materials and supplies to designated sites and locations in a timely manner
n
Loading and unloading materials safely, following proper handling procedures and weight distribution guidelines
n
Inspecting vehicles before and after each delivery to identify any maintenance issues or damage
n
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
n
Communicating effectively with site managers,



customers and the dispatch team regarding delivery times and any issues
n
Complying with all traffic laws, road safety regulations and company safety policies
n
Securing loads properly to prevent spillage or damage during transport
n
Supporting the warehouse team with additional tasks when required
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Current HR or MR driver's licence, or equivalent
n
Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transport role within the construction, warehousing or logistics industry
n
Physical fitness and capability to safely load and unload materials
n
Knowledge of construction materials and site requirements (desirable)
