The Sustainment Inventory Officer supports end-to-end supply chain processes for repairable items within Joint Logistic Unit (North Queensland). The role works closely with a broad range of stakeholders, including military personnel, fleet managers and industry partners delivering warehousing and maintenance services, to support inventory management and sustainment outcomes. The role is responsible for analysing inventory and logistics data, identifying and resolving supply chain issues, and supporting informed decision-making through the use of Defence systems, reports and spreadsheets. The Sustainment Inventory Officer also leads a small team and is responsible for supervision, coaching and training to support the achievement of business outcomes.

Joint Logistics Unit (North Queensland)'s span of responsibility stretches from Rockhampton in the South, to Thursday Island in the North. The unit utilises a broad range of internal skills, together with close relationships with local industry suppliers, to provide excellent logistics support to a wide range of military units across North Queensland.

Experience in a similar role, particularly within logistics, warehousing and/or inventory management.

Strong time management and organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing business requirements.
