About the role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Tailor to join our team at Atelier Alterations, located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. This is a casual position, offering flexibility to suit your schedule.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Performing a wide range of alterations, including hemming, taking in/letting out,
shortening/lengthening,
and more
n
Working with precision to achieve the best possible fit and finish
n
Using industrial and standard sewing machines confidently
n
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
n
Supporting the team to deliver excellent service and uphold our reputation
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Tailor or Dressmaker




n
Strong technical skills in garment alterations and construction
n
Experience working with men's suiting (highly regarded)
n
Ability to work across different garment types (men's, women's, etc.)
n
High attention to detail and quality workmanship
n
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
n
