, you will be responsible for welding and assembling alloy and steel bull bars and associated componentry in accordance with relevant work instructions, workshop drawings and Engineering requirements.

, you will be responsible for welding and assembling alloy and steel bull bars and associated componentry in accordance with relevant work instructions, workshop drawings and Engineering requirements.
This is an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.
Key responsibilities
Weld and assemble alloy or steel bull bars and associated componentry in accordance with work instructions, workshop drawings and Engineering requirements
Ensure completed work meets required quality, dimensional and finish standards
Adhere to Aeroklas Manufacturing Standards, including housekeeping and workplace behaviours
Perform all duties in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
Support our Quality Policy by ensuring quality is maintained throughout all work performed in accordance with AS/NZS ISO **** requirements and Conformity of Production requirements
Identify and report any non-conformances or work outside agreed tolerances
Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality team members
Be available to work reasonable overtime as required to meet production requirements
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade
, and/or a minimum of
2 years' industrial welding experience




Strong welding and fabrication skills
Ability to read and work from workshop and Engineering drawings with minimal supervision following the initial training period
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to plan and organise your work and deliver results
A solid focus on quality and attention to detail
A valid driver's licence
A valid forklift licence
Honesty, reliability and punctuality
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
A high degree of initiative and motivation
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
