About the Role

Turium AI is looking for an ICT Business Analyst to join our Canberra team and work across AI, enterprise technology and digital transformation projects.
n
This opportunity is suited to an early-career Business Analyst or technology professional who has recently completed tertiary study in Australia and brings previous professional experience in business analysis, software, technology, consulting, data or enterprise systems.
n
You may have started your career overseas before completing further study in Australia, or have transitioned into business analysis from a technical background. What matters most is that you bring solid analytical capability, professional experience and the ability to work confidently across business and technology teams.
n
You will work across Turium's AI products, including Turium Algoreus, Turium Enigma and Turium Zebra, supporting solutions delivered to government, councils and enterprise customers.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
n
Map current-state and future-state business processes, workflows and system interactions.
n
Work with stakeholders to understand business problems, pain points and technology requirements.
n
Facilitate and support requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions.
n
Translate business requirements into clear user stories, functional requirements and solution documentation.
n
Work closely with product managers, developers, engineers and senior consultants to support solution design and delivery.
n
Support UAT, test planning, test cases and requirements validation.
n
Analyse data and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, automation and digital transformation.
n
Participate in Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, reviews, demonstrations and retrospectives.
n
Prepare business cases, solution summaries,



presentations and other client-facing documentation.
n
Support project delivery across AI, ERP and enterprise technology environments.
n
Develop exposure to enterprise platforms including SAP, TechnologyOne, Microsoft Dynamics and other corporate systems.
n
Contribute to tender responses, proposals and customer presentations.
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
A degree or postgraduate qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
n
Ideally 1–5 years of previous professional experience in business analysis, technology, software, consulting, data, project delivery or a related environment.
n
Strong requirements gathering, analysis and documentation skills.
n
Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into technology requirements.
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n
Confidence working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
An interest in AI, enterprise systems, ERP and digital transformation.
n
Exposure to Agile delivery environments and tools such as Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps would be highly regarded.
n
Experience with SQL, Power BI, Python, data analysis or process modelling would be advantageous.
n
Exposure to enterprise systems or large-scale technology environments would be highly regarded.
n
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-moving, client-facing environment.
