BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE - VICTORIA

Trenton International is a well-established, family-owned import and distribution company with over 30 years of experience supplying premium products to the Hospitality Industry.

We are looking for a motivated and personable Business Development Executive to join our Melbourne-based team and play an important role in growing our business across Victoria.
n
This is a field-based sales role for someone who enjoys being out in the market, meeting customers, building relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
n
You will be part of a small but active Victorian team, with the opportunity to make a real impact and take ownership of developing your customer base and sales opportunities.
n
About the Role
n
You will be responsible for
n
Building, maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing distributors.
n
Developing current relationships with end users - hospitality groups, venues, chefs, consultants and other key decision makers.
n
Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the hospitality market.
n
Calling on customers and providing product knowledge,



presentations and solutions tailored to their needs.
n
Encouraging and arranging showroom visits to showcase our extensive range.
n
Developing and implementing effective sales plans for your territory.
n
Managing your sales pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records, including customer activity, opportunities, follow-ups and sales plans.
n
Working collaboratively with our Victorian team and national sales network.
n
Travelling regionally and interstate as required.
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who:

Has excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
n
Is confident meeting and speaking with customers at all levels.
n
Enjoys building genuine, long-term relationships.
n
Is proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
n
Has a strong commercial and sales focus with a genuine desire to grow the business.
n
Has experience in the hospitality industry, foodservice or a related sales environment – advantageous but not essential.
n
