Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Garden Maintenance Team Leader to join a well-established organisation that values safety, teamwork and career development. As a Garden Maintenance Team Leader, you will lead by example while working alongside your team to ensure all gardening and grounds maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Your duties will include:

Leading and coordinating daily garden maintenance activities
n
Providing hands‐on support and mentoring team members on‐site
n
Mowing, hedging, pruning, weeding, mulching and fertilising
n
Identifying and reporting plant health or site maintenance issues
n
Conducting site risk assessments and promoting a safe work environment
n
Liaising professionally with clients and site stakeholders
n
Ensuring all works are delivered to scope and quality standards
n

What You'll Need to Succeed

Previous experience in garden or grounds maintenance
n
Experience leading or supervising small teams
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
Ability to operate garden maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Desirable: Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent
n
Previous experience maintaining commercial or government sites
n
Knowledge of plant health management and pest control practices
n
