Opportunity for an experienced Civil Operator based in the Wastewater team in Balcatta.
As part of the Perth Region Field Service team, you will be regularly outdoors, operating, inspecting and maintaining wastewater systems.
About the role:
Operators are the frontline teams keeping essential water and wastewater services running across Western Australia.
They respond to everything from routine maintenance and customer faults through to major incidents that make state-wide headlines.
What the role will involve:
Operate, maintain, monitor, and repair wastewater assets, operational sites and public facilities as required.
Carry out operation and maintenance tasks requiring use of specialist tools, plant, and equipment
Participate in safe job planning, team meetings and workplace inspections.




Demonstrate leadership by ensuring that all work is undertaken with safety as the priority in the provision of a work workplace where no injury is considered acceptable, and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety.
Ability towork after hours and participate on a standbyroster
Key skills and experience:
Able to work in a wastewater environment (sewage) - relevant vaccinations required
Western Australian "C" Class Drivers Licence, with a truck licence (MR or HR) being beneficial
Current Confined Space, Working at Heights, White Card and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets
Experience in water supply and wastewater systems
Required to be fully vaccinated with Hep A & B
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
