The Opportunity: Casual Assistant Kitchen Hand
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 days per week is a must
Location: Waterford
Hours: 9am-4pm
Compensation: Up to $40/hr + Super + Retention
For the period of
9 November **** to 8 January ****
, with the possibility of ongoing casual work beyond this period?
You will need a Paid Blue Card
Your Responsibilities
Complete daily dishwashing duties using the commercial dishwasher.
Assist the Lead Kitchen Hand with food preparation and other kitchen duties.
Prepare, organise and set up dishes and meal service items as required.
Assist with general kitchen cleaning and ensure work areas, equipment and utensils are kept clean and hygienic.
Follow appropriate food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety practices.
Support the kitchen team with tasks as required throughout the day.
Assist with the smooth and timely preparation and delivery of meals to children.
Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team to maintain an organised and efficient kitchen environment.
Follow instructions from the Lead Kitchen Hand and other relevant team members.
Undertake other reasonable kitchen duties as required.
