Join the team at Alfresco Emporium in our coffee cart at our Glenhaven store.
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Barista to create exceptional coffee and a warm, welcoming experience for our customers.
Set within our premium lifestyle and homewares workplace, this role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in delivering high standards of service.
This is a casual position.
About the Role
This position combines café operations with broader retail support duties including opening and closing procedures, customer engagement, merchandising support, and maintaining operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare high-quality coffee and beverages with consistency and care
Deliver exceptional customer service in a premium retail environment
Open and close the coffee cart independently
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and presentation standards
Support stock control, ordering, and replenishment
Assist with merchandising and presentation of surrounding retail areas
Build genuine relationships with customers and create a welcoming atmosphere




Work collaboratively with the wider Glenhaven store team
About You
Previous barista experience in a busy café or hospitality environment
Confident working independently and managing workflow priorities
Strong customer service and communication skills
Professional presentation and positive attitude
Reliable, organised, and proactive
Full Australian working rights
