About the Role
As Quality Manager, you'll be responsible for the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the Quality and Food Safety Management System.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll help maintain certification standards, resolve quality concerns and ensure products meet customer specifications.
You'll be part of the QA Australia program, with the opportunity to help shape quality practices as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
Lead quality assurance and food safety activities across manufacturing and laboratory operations.
Maintain quality systems, product specifications, process controls and testing procedures.
Coordinate audits and support certification and regulatory compliance.




Investigate quality incidents and customer concerns, identify root causes and manage corrective actions.
Work with production teams to strengthen GMP and quality practices.
Maintain inspection and equipment calibration programs.
Report quality performance and improvement opportunities to site leadership.
Support safety and environmental compliance initiatives.
About You
You're a practical quality leader who enjoys working with people on the production floor and finding lasting solutions to quality issues.
Essential requirements:
At least
five years' experience as a Quality Lead or Manager
in a rapid-paced manufacturing or similar environment.
Experience in
food or beverage manufacturing
.
Experience with relevant standards such as
FSSC *****, ISO, HACCP or BRCGS
.
Strong audit, incident investigation, corrective action and continuous improvement experience.
A relevant degree or diploma in Quality Management, Food Science, Engineering, WHS, Environmental Science or a related field.
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence operational teams.
Desirable:
Internal audit or HACCP qualification.
Familiarity with SAP.
