An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate Economics & Accounting Teacher to join a highly regarded independent co-educational school in Brisbane's bayside region, commencing Term ******. Based within a dynamic Humanities and Social Sciences faculty, this position offers the opportunity to teach senior Economics and Accounting, while also contributing to Business education programs in Years 9 and 10.

About the Role

Teach Economics and Accounting across Years *****, with Business studies opportunities in Years 9-10.
n
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging learning experiences aligned with ACARA and QCAA requirements.
n
Differentiate learning to cater for diverse student needs and maximise academic outcomes.
n
Support students through a safe,



inclusive and engaging learning environment.
n
Contribute to project-based learning initiatives and broader faculty programs.
n
Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to support student success.
n
Participate in professional learning, school events and co-curricular activities.

About You
n
n
Relevant teaching qualifications with a major in Economics, Accounting or Business.
n
Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
n
Experience teaching senior Economics and/or Accounting.
n
Knowledge of QCAA syllabus requirements and external assessment processes.
n
A passion for high-quality teaching and learning and achieving outstanding student outcomes.
n
Solid communication, collaboration and relationship‐building skills.
n
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and contributing positively to school culture.
