We have (12-Month Contract - Extend) Principal Architect role available in Melbourne.
You will be the senior technical authority, working with customers, engineering teams, project managers, partners and vendors to shape architecture, provide technical direction and lead delivery across complex, multi-disciplinary programs.
This Senior Level role requires someone experienced at the Principal Architecture level .
You will require broad depth across Data Centre, AI Compute / AI Storage / AI Networking, HPC Architecture / HPC environments .
You will require strong experience in Delivery Governance and T echnical Experience to lead effectively across a very broad portfolio .
You will require strong experience in Technology Consulting, Advisory, or Professional Services.
Key Responsibilities : Act as the senior technical authority and architectural point of contact for enterprise networking engagements.
Lead architecture development, discovery, assessments and technical solution design.
Develop and review enterprise architectures across Data Centre, AI Compute / AI Storage / AI Networking, HPC Environments Provide technical leadership across complex, multi-phase and multi-disciplinary projects.
Work closely with customers, including senior stakeholders, to understand business and technical requirements and develop practical solutions.
Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews and solution presentations.
Review technical designs, deployment documentation and engineering deliverables.
Identify and manage technical risks, issues, dependencies and design deficiencies.
Provide technical governance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring architecture and delivery standards are maintained.




Coordinate internal engineering teams, partners, vendors and contractors.
Provide technical escalation and guidance across multiple technology domains.
Support project scoping, solution development, Statements of Work and customer proposals.
Work closely with Sales and Skilled Services teams to transition opportunities into successful delivery.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to senior and junior engineers and architects.
Identify opportunities to improve customer environments and contribute to additional technical opportunities.
Experience Required : Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture / Technical Consulting .
Proven experience operating at Principal, Lead Architect or equivalent senior technical leadership level .
Strong architectural understanding across the following: Data Centre AI Compute AI Storage AI Networking HPC Environments AI Factory Strong Experience in Technology Consulting, Advisory, or Professional Services.
Experience leading technical delivery across multiple Architecture domains simultaneously .
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, design principles and delivery methodologies.
Experience working directly with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams, engineering resources, partners and vendors.
Strong delivery governance, technical assurance and risk management experience.
Excellent communication, presentation and technical documentation skills.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business outcomes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act as the senior technical escalation point.
Experience working within Professional Services, consulting, systems integration or complex enterprise environments.
