YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Manager – Credit Administration we have an excellent chance for a full-time experienced Team Leader to join our small team of pre and post settlement officers working from our Sydney head office. This is a varied role where you will coordinate the end-to-end process from post-approval to settlement & discharge, your core responsibilities will encompass:

- Producing loan documentation for a variety of loan types including mortgages, personal loans, credit cards and commercial matters within established service levels
- Understanding of complex applications and having an in-depth understanding of banking lending policies and regulatory obligations
- Managing mortgage settlements, and other transactions through PEXA
- Funding all loans including construction progress payments
- Assist in the management of inboxes to ensure that queries are completed within SLA's
- Lodging FHOG, PPS registrations, understanding of the government scheme applications and coordinating settlements with third parties
- Managing post settlement dealings on title, ensuring all documentation is compliant with relevant state requirements and internal systems are updated accordingly




- Performing all post settlement maintenance including security packet management and other general administration
- Coaching, developing and motivating the team to increase productivity and improve team and customer satisfaction

YOUR PROFILE

You are a collaborative service professional who has:

- previous experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or equivalate people leadership within the Banking & Financial services sector with proven ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
- a focus on quality, compliance and continuous improvement, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- a strong knowledge of mortgage lending, personal lending, consumer finance, settlements, loan documentation and lifecycle loan management
- knowledge of commercial lending & relevant security documentation requirements
- strong knowledge of loan management systems, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- excellent communication skills to complement your operational experience in document preparation and PEXA settlements.
- proficiency using standard Microsoft applications (minimum – intermediate level) along with robust administration skills are essential, as is a genuine desire to work within a small team.
