Full-Time Dental Assistant/Receptionist – Gerringong Dental /n

Gerringong Dental is looking for a motivated and personable Part-Time Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team.

/n

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, working across both reception and clinical areas while building genuine relationships with patients and supporting a great team.

/n

You’ll be an important part of the day-to-day running of the practice, helping create a welcoming and professional experience for our patients from the moment they arrive.

What You’ll Be Doing /n

Your days will be varied, with responsibilities including:

/n

/n

- Welcoming patients and providing a warm, friendly experience

/n

- Answering phone enquiries and managing appointment bookings

/n

- Managing reception administration, accounts and patient payments

/n

- Processing EFTPOS and HICAPS transactions

/n

- Assisting dentists and the clinical team during appointments

/n

- Preparing treatment rooms and patients for procedures

/n

- Sterilising instruments and following infection control procedures

/n

- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming practice

/n

- Supporting the team wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly

/n

What We’re Looking For /n

We’re looking for someone who is positive,



reliable and genuinely enjoys working with people.

/n

You’ll ideally have:

/n

/n

- Previous dental experience (1+ years preferred, but not essential)

/n

- Experience with Care Stack or similar dental software is highly regarded

/n

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

/n

- A caring, approachable and professional manner

/n

- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

/n

- A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative

/n

- The ability to work well as part of a team in a busy environment

/n

- A genuine interest in providing patients with an excellent experience

/n
