Southport Surf Life Saving Club Supporters Club is looking for an experienced Qualified Chef to join our established kitchen team at Main Beach on the Gold Coast.
We are a busy seven-day club offering a great opportunity for a qualified chef who enjoys a fast-paced kitchen, a strong team environment and a genuine work-life balance.
What we offer:
- $80,000 per annum + superannuation
- Permanent full time position
- 38 hours per week
- 5 weeks annual leave
- Roster structured around 3 double shifts and 2 half-days
- Public holiday rates paid separately in accordance with the Award
- Staff account card
- Fantastic Main Beach location – the beach is right across the road
About the role
You will work as part of our kitchen team delivering quality meals in a busy, high-volume club environment.
The successful applicant will be confident across a busy service and have solid grill and pans experience.

- Be a qualified chef with relevant trade qualifications
- Have experience in a busy commercial kitchen
- Have strong grill and pans skills
- Be reliable, organised and able to work efficiently during busy services
- Take pride in the quality and presentation of your food
- Have a positive attitude and work well as part of a team
Southport Surf Life Saving Club Supporters Club is a successful community-based club operating seven days a week at Main Beach. Our commercial operations also help support Southport Surf Life Saving Club and the lifesaving services it provides to the community.
