We are seeking commercially focused Project Managers to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of high-voltage equipment for transmission and substation projects across the Australia-East region.

These contract roles can be based in Melbourne or Brisbane, with an initial 6-month extendable term, with a view to permanent employment appointment due to the order book backlog.

The role is heavily focused on managing the successful execution of OEM-supplied HV products manufactured in offshore facilities and ensuring all contractual obligations are delivered in accordance with project specifications, commercial requirements and customer expectations.

Working across engineering, manufacturing, logistics, site execution and commissioning teams, you will be the primary point of accountability for project delivery from contract award through to final acceptance and warranty.

Key Deliverables

- Manage the life-cycle from contract award through manufacturing, factory acceptance testing, shipment, installation, commissioning and handover.
- Ensure all project activities are executed in accordance with contract requirements, technical specifications and agreed delivery milestones.
- Coordinate offshore manufacturing, engineering, logistics and site delivery teams to achieve schedule, quality and cost objectives.
- Manage commercial performance, including project forecasting, cash flow, progress claims, variation management and contractual correspondence.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks,



compliance obligations, customer issues and stakeholder interfaces throughout the delivery phase.

Background Requirements

- Strong understanding of contract administration, scope management, variations, claims and contractual compliance.
- Experience managing OEM equipment supply projects involving offshore manufacturing, international logistics and local site installation activities.
- Knowledge of HV substation equipment such as GIS, AIS, power transformers, protection and control systems, FACTS devices or related transmission infrastructure will be highly regarded.
- Brings a disciplined approach to project governance, risk management and contract compliance.
- Understands the complexities of coordinating multiple stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing and construction environments.
