Our client, NORWEST, is a growing Civil Construction & Logistics Company based in the Karratha and Wickham area of Western Australia. They are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join their growing team.

About the Role
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of trucks used across civil construction, transport and logistics operations.

Key responsibilities include:
Operate trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with road and site requirements
Transport materials, equipment and other goods between work sites and designated locations
Load, secure, transport and unload materials safely
Conduct daily pre-start inspections and routine vehicle checks
Identify and report vehicle faults, defects and maintenance requirements
Ensure loads are secured correctly and comply with relevant requirements
Complete delivery dockets, logbooks, timesheets and other required documentation accurately
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and site-specific requirements
Comply with road rules,



transport regulations and company procedures
Maintain the truck, equipment and work areas in a clean, safe and orderly condition
Communicate professionally with supervisors, customers and other team members
Assist with general civil construction and logistics activities when required
Ensure deliveries and transport activities are completed safely and efficiently
Perform overtime when required to meet operational requirements

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current and appropriate Australian driver's licence for the type of truck operated
Previous experience as a Truck Driver, preferably within civil construction, transport or logistics
Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles safely and efficiently
Good knowledge of road safety and transport requirements
Experience with load restraint and safe loading and unloading practices
Ability to conduct pre-start inspections and identify vehicle faults
Ability to complete logbooks, delivery documentation and other paperwork accurately
