The Project

You’ll take ownership of a significant $70 million retail and industrial development in North Sydney.

This is a complex, high-profile project requiring strong leadership across design, procurement, construction, commercial management and stakeholder coordination.

You’ll lead the project from the front while being supported by an experienced delivery team, senior management and established business systems.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the project from preconstruction and procurement through to completion and handover

- Managing the construction programme, budget, quality and safety outcomes

- Providing leadership and direction to the project delivery team





- Managing the head contract and overseeing key contractual obligations

- Leading client, consultant and stakeholder relationships

- Driving design development and resolving technical and buildability issues

- Overseeing procurement, subcontractor engagement and major trade packages

- Monitoring project costs, forecasts, cash flow, variations and commercial risk

- Chairing project, design, subcontractor and stakeholder meetings

- Identifying programme and delivery risks before they affect the project

- Ensuring accurate reporting to senior management and the client

- Maintaining high standards across safety, quality and environmental compliance

- Supporting, mentoring and developing Project Managers, Contract Administrators and site personnel

- Driving the project through commissioning, completion and final handover

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for a proven construction professional who can lead a project of this scale with confidence.

You’ll ideally have:

- Significant experience as a Senior Project Manager with a reputable commercial builder

- Demonstrated experience delivering projects valued at approximately $50 million or more

- Experience across retail, industrial, commercial or similarly complex developments

- Strong knowledge of head contracts, subcontract management and commercial construction

- Proven capability across design management, procurement, programming and cost control

- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and major subcontractor packages

- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to identify and manage project risk

- Excellent client, consultant and stakeholder management skills

- A collaborative but decisive leadership style

- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline

- A strong commitment to safety,



quality and successful project outcomes
