Senior Development Manager

- Location - Parramatta with expectation to travel regionally in Western NSW Hybrid working is supported
- Employment type - Ongoing
- Salary - Clerk Grade 11/12 ($154,231- $178,369) plus superannuation and leave loading

Your role

Homes NSW is seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to lead project teams responsible for the delivery of new social housing developments. This includes overseeing project planning and programming, feasibility assessments, design coordination, development management, construction delivery and financial governance. The role also involves building and managing strategic relationships with community, government and private sector stakeholders to secure and deliver quality social housing outcomes.

What you'll do

- Deliver social housing projects through a range of delivery models, including partnerships with private, community housing and not-for-profit sectors, to achieve Homes NSW objectives.
- Manage projects through the full lifecycle, including planning, stakeholder engagement, governance, financial management, risk management and reporting, ensuring outcomes align with program objectives and client needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business partners, contractors, consultants and government agencies, to support successful project delivery.
- Identify and manage legal, regulatory, operational and project risks, while driving continuous improvement, innovation and best-practice approaches.
- Prepare strategic and operational documentation and provide advice, reporting and project support to the Executive Leadership Team.

What we're looking for

- Delivery-focused role, managing projects from design through to construction handover.
- Responsible for delivering social housing projects across Western Sydney and regional Western NSW.
- Regular travel to project sites in locations such as Dubbo, Bathurst and Orange will be required.
