- Apply document numbering, revision control and approval workflow so that every document is traceable.
- Maintain the document register and keep superseded versions clearly marked.
- Incorporate review comments from the Quality Manager, engineering and site supervision.
- Update ITPs and SOPs when non-conformances and lessons learned identify a gap.

- Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to write plainly for a site audience and keep instructions short enough to be used on the tools.

- Advanced Microsoft Word: templates, styles, numbering, tables and cross-references applied consistently across a large document set.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for maintaining registers and trackers.
- Organised and self-directed, able to run a document programme to agreed deadlines with minimal supervision.

- Experience writing inspection and test plans, checklists or quality forms in a construction, manufacturing or utilities setting.
- Familiarity with electrical installation work and the terminology used on site.
- Ability to produce easy visual aids such as annotated photographs, sketches and single-page field guides.
- Ability to read drawings, specifications and Australian Standards and pull firm requirements out of them, including numeric acceptance criteria

Qualifications / Certifications
Required

- Demonstrated experience in technical writing, documentation or procedure development.
- Construction Industry General Safety Induction (White Card), or willingness to obtain one before attending site.
- Current Australian driver’s licence, with the ability to travel between project sites.
