The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Maintenance Planner to join our NSW Passenger Maintenance team. Reporting to the Planning & Procurement Manager, you'll play a critical role in coordinating maintenance activities that support the safety, reliability and availability of passenger rail fleets across New South Wales.

Working closely with maintenance teams, procurement specialists and operational stakeholders, you'll develop maintenance schedules, coordinate resources and drive continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to successful operational outcomes.

Whether you're an experienced Maintenance Planner or bring transferable planning, scheduling, coordination or asset management experience, we would love to hear from you.

- Developing and coordinating maintenance schedules.
- Ensuring materials, equipment and resources are available when required.
- Supporting fleet reliability, performance and availability outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with operational and procurement teams.
- Monitoring maintenance activities and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Preparing reports and analysing maintenance performance metrics.
- Contributing to a culture of safety,



quality and continuous improvement.

About You:

You will bring:

- Experience in planning, scheduling, maintenance coordination, asset management, operations or logistics.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines.
- Experience using SAP or other planning systems.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset and commitment to safety.
- Experience within rail, transport, manufacturing, defence, mining, utilities or other asset-intensive environments will be highly regarded.
