About the Role

coNEXA is experiencing considerable growth in its engineering and projects team, both in the support of the coNEXA owned assets and in supporting our traditional client base in design and delivery of their water project solutions. To support this growth coNEXA is seeking to employ a Project Engineer within the Engineering and Projects team.

The role will initially be focussed on supporting the delivery of a major pipeline and infrastructure project in Western Sydney that coNEXA is embarking on. The candidate will be integrated into the coNEXA project delivery team.

The role will also involve a variety of activities across project development, design and delivery, as well exposure to operational support to the coNEXA and external client operational sites. There is significant opportunity for the right candidate to progress their career with the immediate delivery of a major infrastructure project and the future growth and expansion opportunities with coNEXA.

Reporting to the Manager – Projects & Engineering, and supporting projects across Australia, the preferred location for the role is in Sydney, however, to accommodate the right candidate the role could be based in coNEXA’s Newcastle office.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is preferred, however consideration will be given to candidates with the relevant Engineering experience/exposure,

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in water, wastewater or recycled water infrastructure design and construction

- Experience in delivery of linear infrastructure is desirable,

- Experience in project delivery and management in both greenfield and brownfield environments is desirable,

- Reputation as a team player,

- Strong attention to detail in completion of tasks,

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,

- Excellent time and priority management skills,

- Established track record in problem solving and innovative solutions, and

- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

- Project management skills and experience including contract administration, project planning and scheduling, Quality assurance, HSEQ management and compliance and site supervision.

This position is available for an immediate start.

Remuneration
