About Us

St Martin's Residential Aged Care, Taigum is seeking Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis. Casual pay rates range from $59.20 to $71.56 per hour, depending on the applicable classification and experience.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to our residents, including comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning and ongoing clinical support. You will work collaboratively with residents, families, colleagues and external healthcare providers to ensure residents' individual care needs are met.

Key responsibilities include:

- Provide safe, high-quality and person-centred nursing care in accordance with skilled, legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Maintain current AHPRA registration and comply with nursing professional standards, policies and procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and accurately document residents' current health status and care needs.
- Develop, implement and regularly review holistic care plans based on residents' individual needs and assessment outcomes.
- Participate in Aged Care Funding assessments and documentation, ensuring accurate information is maintained.
- Deliver and oversee clinical care, including medication administration, treatments and other nursing interventions within scope of practice.
- Coordinate, supervise and delegate care to ENs, AINs, PCWs and other support staff appropriately.
- Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals, families and other healthcare providers to coordinate effective resident care.
- Monitor residents' progress and respond appropriately to changes in health or clinical condition, including coordinating hospital transfers and external appointments when required.

Qualifications and Requirements





To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A current National Police Check
- Degree in Nursing
- Current registration with AHPRA and evidence of recent practice
- Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster including working on weekends and public holidays as required
- Required to be on-call
