About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an approachable and caring Primary Classroom Teacher to join the supportive team at St Philomena's CPS, Bathurst. The teacher in a Catholic school is someone who can encourage development and nurture the personal, spiritual and educational growth of each and every student.

We are seeking a Teacher who understands and commits to supporting the mission and ethos of Catholic education within the school by:

- Creating a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.

- Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress.

- Using inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.

- Analysing student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement.

- Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes.

- Collaborating with school leadership, staff, and contribute to school life.

- Providing student supervision and assist in organising extracurricular activities.

About You
We are looking for someone who can address the following selection criteria:

- The desire to engage with and contribute to a Catholic learning organisation

- A proven ability to differentiate the learning to meet the needs of all students

- A proven capacity to facilitate the integration of ICT in contemporary learning practices

- Excellent communication and organisational skills, punctuality and adaptability

- Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school including coaching sporting teams, and attending school camps and retreats as required





- The ability to develop positive relationships in the classroom based on mutual respect, patience and understanding
