Calida is a boutique commercial construction company specialising in high-end retail, hospitality and commercial projects across Sydney.

We are seeking an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our Rosebery office on a temporary full-time basis from late October 2026 to the end of February 2027, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping/accounting experience and be confident working across MYOB and Vista.

The Role:

- Bank reconciliations and maintenance of financial records

- Accounts payable and receivable

- Monthly payroll processing

- Monthly cash flow management and cost reporting

- Maintain debtors, bonds, bank guarantees, retentions and deposit schedules

- General Ledger, journal entries and Trial Balance

- Prepare financial summaries, balance sheets and cash flow reports

- Consolidate project cost reports





- Liaise with suppliers, project teams and external accountants

- Prepare financial reports for Directors and the leadership team

About You:

- Experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper with solid all-round accounting knowledge

- Strong experience using MYOB, with Vista experience highly regarded

- Experience across payroll, AP/AR, reconciliations and financial reporting

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills

- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

- Construction industry experience advantageous
