Our client is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join their growing team and provide high quality paediatric occupational therapy services to children and young people within the NDIS. This is a part/time opportunity, however will consider candidates who are seeking full time hours.

This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or Occupational Therapist with 1–2 years of paediatric experience who is looking to develop their clinical skills, build confidence and grow their career in a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of settings, including clinic, home, school, community and telehealth, depending on participant needs.

About the role

Working closely with children, families, carers, educators and other professionals, you will provide individualised, person centred occupational therapy designed to support meaningful participation and independence.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting occupational therapy assessments for children and young people.
- Developing individualised therapy goals and intervention plans.
- Delivering therapy targeting areas such as:
- Fine and gross motor skills
- Self-care and daily living skills
- Sensory processing and regulation
- Emotional regulation
- Play and social participation
- School and community participation

- Working collaboratively with parents, carers, teachers and other professionals.
- Preparing progress notes, therapy plans and NDIS-related reports.
- Monitoring participant progress and adapting therapy strategies as required.
- Providing practical strategies that can be implemented at home, school and in the community.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team discussions and collaboration.
- Identifying and appropriately reporting participant risks or safeguarding concerns.
- Maintaining accurate, timely and high-quality clinical documentation.

About you

Essential requirements
You will have:

- A Bachelor or Master qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Current or eligibility for an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- A current driver's licence.




- Strong communication and organisational skills.
