About the role

Realm Investment House is a fast-growing, highly regarded Investment House located at our Melbourne office at 30 Collins Street, seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team Full-time, 5 days per week. Hybrid work is available with 1 day WFH.

Key responsibilities

- Support the month-end close process across seven entities, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

- Manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate general ledger and cost centre allocations.

- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, vendor accounts and other financial accounts.

- Prepare and process monthly management fee and reimbursement invoices for related entities.

- Process monthly and quarterly rebate payments for related entities.

- Prepare and lodge quarterly BAS and assist with the annual FBT return.

- Process payroll in Xero, including PAYG, superannuation, workers' compensation and STP lodgements.

- Track company expenses and prepare Budget v Actual reporting.

- Assist the Financial Controller with monthly and quarterly reporting obligations.

- Support the year-end audit and work closely with our registered Tax Agent.

About you

- CPA or CA qualified – or currently studying towards





- Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience in a similar sized business

- Strong knowledge of Xero/MYOB, including Xero payroll

- Hands-on experience with BAS, FBT, month-end close and reconciliations

- Advanced Excel, plus Microsoft Office Workspace

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies or errors

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Proactive, independent and able to work without constant supervision

- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels

- Strong ethical standards and integrity
