Your new role:

As a Customer Support Officer within Central Virtual Integrated Community Care (Central VICC), you'll play an important role in coordinating referrals and supporting timely access to services across Metro South Health.

- Coordinate the timely receipt, processing and completion of referrals, ensuring information meets established pathways, guidelines and eligibility criteria.
- Use your strong communication and customer service skills to liaise confidently with patients, referral sources, members of the public and departmental staff by phone and email.
- Work across a range of health information systems, including CHIMS, ERIC, SRWS and RedCAP, maintaining accurate data and cross-referencing referral information.
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the team, managing enquiries, correspondence and documentation while prioritising workloads and meeting required timeframes.

About you:

- You're a confident communicator who can build rapport and clearly convey information to a diverse range of patients, carers, referral sources and colleagues.
- You're highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks, maintain data accuracy and consistently meet deadlines.
- You have strong administrative and computer skills, including confidence using Microsoft programs and learning new information systems and databases.
- You bring integrity, respect and a team-focused approach, with a commitment to confidentiality, quality service and positive outcomes for patients.
