ITSM Security Consultant

Contract length: 12-Month Contract

About the role
We're looking for an experienced ICT security skilled to join us on a 12-month contract. You'll manage day-to-day ICT and physical/personnel security across the business, and be the go-to person for security and supply chain risk questions from our federal government customers.

What you'll do

- Run day-to-day ICT security operations: access management, patching and vulnerability oversight, incident triage and response, and security monitoring
- Maintain security policies, procedures and registers, and support ITSM processes (incident, change and problem management)
- Oversee general security, including physical, personnel and information security
- Respond to federal government customer security questionnaires, risk assessments and assurance requests
- Assess and manage supply chain and third-party risk, including vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoring




- Brief management on security risks and remediation priorities

What you'll bring

- 5+ years in ICT security, security risk or GRC roles
- Hands-on experience responding to Commonwealth customer security and risk requirements
- Working knowledge of the ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight and ACSC supply chain guidance
- Experience with ITSM tools and processes (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, ITIL)
- Strong writing skills. You'll be producing assessments and responses that go to government customers
- Australian citizenship and an existing NV1 security clearance
