The role involves leading, planning, executing, managing and monitoring ongoing maintenance activities for Cyber Training Systems (CTS), Cyber Mission Systems (CMS), and Cyber Development Support Systems (CDSS), from development through to production.

The Maintenance Manager ensures maintenance activities are delivered in accordance with agreed timelines, priorities, quality standards and budgets, while effectively coordinating resources and monitoring progress to support operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Actively work with stakeholders to deliver on the technical challenges that arise in the delivery of day to day operations – across multiple systems and streams.

- Manage and task the regional Field Service Representatives (FSRs).

- Work closely with the Maintenance Controller to orchestrate maintenance activities.

- Development and ongoing improvements of the Maintenance Management System (MMS) and associated policy and procedures.

- Provide support assurance Level 1 and Level 2 support for all products.

- Coordinate Field Service Representative support for product delivery as agreed with Product Managers.

- Establish and maintain Technical Maintenance Plans (TMP) for all project material systems including routine, system updates and defect/fault activities.

- Manage maintenance logs and report on faults and defects reported by stakeholders.





- Engage with the Engineering Services Team to ensure that systems remain aligned to the agreed technical baseline, and any compliance issues are flagged for action.

- Monitor, manage and resolve Departments Support Portal tickets

About you

- Qualification (e.g. Degree, Diploma, Cert IV) in ICT Systems Engineering or related field (essential).

- Certified Protected® Practitioner.

- Qualification in Maintenance Management (e.g. Cert IV, GradCert) (desirable)

- Qualification in any Technical Regulatory Frameworks (desirable)

- ITIL certification (desirable)

- Demonstrated ICT experience (essential)

- Experience in maintenance manager role for ICT and/or ADF systems (essential)

- Systems Engineering and/or Systems Maintenance experience (essential)

- Strong Defence background (essential)

- High level management and communication skills (essential)
