National Pallet Controller

The Prospect

An established Australian transport and logistics business is seeking an experienced National Pallet Controller to join its team in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

This is a key role responsible for the accurate management, reconciliation and control of pallet movements across a national transport operation. You will oversee daily pallet administration, investigate discrepancies, support pallet recovery and cost control, and work closely with operational teams, customers and external pallet providers.

This is also a hands-on leadership role, providing day-to-day direction and support to a small pallet administration team.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing the day-to-day administration and reconciliation of CHEP and Loscam pallet movements.

- Maintaining accurate pallet transactions, balances and records within the 2IC pallet management system.

- Investigating discrepancies, rejected transactions, claims and account variances.

- Preparing regular reports and analysing pallet data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.

- Working with Operations to reduce pallet losses and identify opportunities for pallet recovery.

- Liaising with customers, transport providers, pallet suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.

- Providing day-to-day leadership,



coaching and support to a small pallet administration team.

- Ensuring consistent pallet control processes and standards are maintained across the business.

- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, data accuracy and cost control.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

- 2+ years' administration experience within the transport or logistics sector.

- Sound understanding of pallet control and reconciliation processes.

- Experience using the 2IC pallet management system.

- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Well-developed organisation and problem-solving skills.

- High attention to detail and an analytical mindset.

- Experience providing guidance, training or day-to-day support to team members.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities while meeting deadlines.

Experience with CHEP and Loscam will be highly regarded.
