About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an Education Admin Officer up to 0.9EFT (72 hours per fortnight) fixed term basis for LSL coverage (October 2026 - May 2027, potential for ongoing).

The Administrative Support Officer is a key member of the Education and Training Unit, providing high-quality administrative, operational and customer service support to the Education Manager, Psychiatric Nurse Consultant and broader education team. The role contributes to the efficient delivery of education and training services across the organisation through effective coordination, communication and administration.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will support a range of activities including meeting coordination, study day administration, learning management system maintenance, study leave processing and stakeholder engagement. This role is ideal for a highly organised professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional administrative support and fostering positive relationships across the organisation.

The role of the Education Admin Officer is to:

- Provide exceptional customer service as a first point of contact for staff, patients and external stakeholders via phone, email and in-person enquiries.
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, coordinating room bookings and preparing agendas and minutes.
- Support the planning and administration of study days, education programs and training activities across the organisation.
- Maintain and support the organisation's learning management system (eLearn) and Education intranet resources.
- Process organisation-wide study leave applications and provide administrative support to education-related initiatives.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices and other administrative processes to support the effective operation of the Education and Training Unit.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:





- Experience providing administrative and clerical support within a healthcare, community services, education or similar environment.
- Advanced computer skills across the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and database systems.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a skilled and customer-focused approach.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise initiative and build effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
