HUSH Beauty & Skin has been the heart of beauty and skin in Emerald since 2006 — a long-standing, much-loved salon known for genuine country care and results that speak for themselves. Ninety-five per cent of our clients come back, and most book their next appointment before they leave. That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because of how our therapists look after people.

Founded by Jess, a skin and beauty professional with more than 30 years in the industry, HUSH pairs warm local hospitality with advanced skincare and the honest advice our clients trust.

We're now looking for a warm, capable therapist to join us for the long haul — someone who lifts the team around them and genuinely loves this work. This isn't a stepping-stone role. It's a chance to build a career, with real training behind you and a clear path into a senior or leadership position for the right person.

About the role

• Full time or part time from 25 hours, with the roster built around the right person

• Your core work: face and body waxing, brow shaping, tinting and lamination — this is the heart of our salon and what our clients love us for

• Lash lifts and tints

• Facials and skin consultations using O Cosmedics and Synergie Skin

• Spray tanning

• Prescribing home care and rebooking — looking after clients properly, beginning to end

• Capturing treatments and results for social media, plus some content management

• Helping manage bookings in Timely and keeping our space beautiful

• Growing into advanced skin — skin needling, IPL, HIFU and Mesoskinline, all trained and paid for by us

Please note our hours: we're an evening salon. Our clients come to us after work, so we run Tuesday to Friday, 9am to 8.30pm. If those hours suit your life, they suit ours beautifully.

What we're looking for





• A qualified beauty therapist (Cert IV minimum) with at least two years' salon experience

• Genuinely skilled and effective at waxing and brows — it's most of what we do, and doing it beautifully is what keeps our clients coming back

• Proven with retail — you're confident prescribing home care and you have the numbers to show for it

• A natural team player: supportive, reliable, and nurturing of those around you

• Someone seeking stability and a place to settle, not just the next step

• Comfortable creating content on the go — photos and video for socials

• Available for late nights across the week

• A real willingness to learn across modalities

Advanced skin experience, IPL certification or supervisory experience are all a bonus — but none are essential. Curiosity and a strong foundation matter more.
