Our client is an ASX-listed global business with their Australian head office based in Dandenong South. A rare and highly attractive opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. It is essential to be either CA or CPA qualified, as well as possessing SAP systems experience.

This is a genuine hybrid opportunity, offering the flexibility to work:
* 3 days in the office
* 2 days from home
Salary: $130,000 base + Super

THE ROLE:

Part of a close-knit and high performing finance team, this position of Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:

- All aspects with month- and year-end preparation, including monthly and ad-hoc journals
- Reporting and analysis, including analysis of all aspects of sales, COGS & operating expenses information
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations, identify and rectify discrepancies, and ensure the integrity of financial data
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Maintain the fixed asset register




- Liaise with external auditors and assist with audit preparation and responses
- Prepare annual statutory accounts
- Financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Any other tasks requested by management.

The successful applicant will have/be;

- CPA or CA qualified
- Degree qualified in Business/Commerce
- SAP systems experience
- Full Australian work rights
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and compliance requirements
- Extensive knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills as well as taking pride in personal presentation.
