Sorted Electrical is looking for a high-performing Qualified Electrician to join our residential team across Brisbane and Bayside.

We’re looking for someone who is already confident in residential electrical work, communicates well with customers and wants to keep improving.

This role suits an electrician who takes pride in their work, enjoys dealing with homeowners and wants to be rewarded for performing at a high level.

Sorted Electrical is a growing Brisbane electrical and air-conditioning company specialising in existing residential homes.

Our work includes service calls, electrical upgrades, installations, fault finding, ceiling fans, lighting, switchboards, air-conditioning and other home electrical improvements.

We’ve built a strong reputation by focusing heavily on the customer experience — not just completing the electrical work.

That means our electricians need to be good tradespeople, but they also need to be people homeowners are comfortable having in their homes.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

This isn’t repetitive new-build work.

Most of our work is in existing Brisbane homes, which means every day is different.

Your work may include:

- Residential electrical service and maintenance

- Fault finding and problem solving

- Switchboard and safety switch upgrades

- Lighting and power upgrades

- Ceiling fan installations

- Split-system air-conditioning installations

- Electrical renovations and improvements

- Working directly with homeowners

- Providing options and explaining work clearly to customers

- Completing high-quality workmanship and leaving homes clean and tidy

- Working with the team to deliver a great customer experience

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Being technically capable is important, but it isn’t enough on its own.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has strong residential electrical experience

- Takes genuine pride in their workmanship

- Is confident working directly with homeowners

- Communicates clearly and professionally

- Understands good customer service

- Keeps their vehicle, tools and work areas clean and organised





- Can fault find and think for themselves

- Takes ownership instead of making excuses

- Is reliable and turns up when they say they will

- Wants to become a better electrician

- Is comfortable being held to a high standard

- Enjoys being part of a team

- Wants to perform well and be rewarded for it

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

- Current Queensland Electrical Licence

- Current Australian Driver’s Licence

- Strong residential electrical experience

- Good fault-finding ability

- Confidence dealing directly with customers

- Good communication and presentation

- A high standard of workmanship

- A positive attitude and willingness to keep learning

BONUS POINTS

Experience in any of the following will put you ahead:

- Split-system air-conditioning installation

- Restricted or full refrigeration / air-conditioning licence

- Residential service and maintenance

- Fault finding

- Customer service

- Quoting residential electrical work

- Sales or customer-facing roles

- Running residential jobs independently
